Favorite Face Brushes by Zoeva

Zoeva is a German makeup brush and color cosmetic company. I think the quality of their brushes is really amazing and can be compared to Sigma (Zoeva brushes are a little smaller than Sigma brushes) or MAC brushes. However, Zoeva brushes are really affordable! So here are my favorite face brushes in no particular order.
104 / Buffer Powder & Foundation Brush (Vegan synthetic hair)
I use this makeup brush to apply my foundation all-over my face and to blend it into my skin. You can also use it for application of powder or mineral makeup products, what I don't usually do. I either apply some foundation on my cheeks, chin, forehead ... and then buff it into my skin or I apply some product directly on the brush when I'm in a hurry. It's easier for me to use such a buffer brush than these typical flat foundation brushes. With this Zoeva brush I don't get any harsh lines and the result is clear and flawless. My current foundation is the 123 Perfect Foundation by Bourjois.

109 / Luxe Face Paint Contour Brush (Natural-synthetic mix hair)
I use this brush for contouring along my cheekbones, chin and hairline. I also contour on the sides of my nose but this brush is too big for that. It works best for powder products. I use the Hoola bronzer by Benefit for contouring. Because of the flat, square shape I get a super precise shape. To avoid any harsh lines, I always take my foundation brush 104 to buff the contour into my skin.

142 Concealer Buffer (Vegan synthetic hair)
With this brush I apply my concealer (Which is the Instant Age Rewind Eraser by Maybelline) in a dabbing motion to cover up dark circles and any imperfections around the eyes. It feels really soft on my eye area and the shape of the brush is just perfect.

To clean my brushes I don't use any fancy cleanser, just baby shampoo & the hair doesn't fall out.

Have you ever tried brushes by Zoeva? Do you have any favorites? (:

  5. Interesting that the brushes are made from different things. Being a vegetarian, I'd have to go for the vegan synthetic hair ones.

  11. I love my Zoeva Buffer as well, especially for mineral foundations! Other than that I love the 102 Silk Finish (as well for mineral foundation), the 318 Soft Paint Liner for my eyeliner and the 228 Crease! Best regards.
