My alternative for the Bioderma make-up removing micelle solution

If you've been following my blog for a while now, you probably know that I'm obsessed with the micelle solution by Bioderma. If you want to read a review on that product, you can find mine here. I love the way that a make-up remover feels like water on my skin but removes all my make-up gently and fast. I don't even have to rub the with product soaked cotton pad on my skin and irritate it, even lots of eye make-up is easliy removed.
A downside of the Bioderma solution is definitely the huge price, that's why I decided to try the more affordable L'Oréal Skin Perfection micelle cleanser, and I have to say that it works just as good as the Bioderma one! My skin is not that problematic, just my eye area is a little sensitive, that's why I love to cleanse my skin with a mild micelle water. The power of the L'Oréal micellar water at removing make-up is just amazing, there are no residues left on my skin. Personally, I don't see a difference between the Bioderma and L'Oréal versions, they're basically the same.
I'm not sure if you can get the L'Oréal micallar water in the U.S. or in Australia, but if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend trying it.

There is another drugstore alternative by Garnier. I haven't tried that one yet. If you have so, feel free to leave your opinion on that product down below!

Have a nice weekend (:

  1. I hope I can find these products in New Zealand, Would love to try them out!
LOVE your blog by the way! So glad I found it xx

  2. I've tried both and they are such a great first cleansing step! I like that the Bioderma is a larger bottle, lasting longer until I have to go pick a new one up :)

  5. I've never tried the original Bio Derma version but loved the L'Oreal one until Garnier brought out a similar one, just cheaper with more product. Love using it to take off my eye makeup before cleansing x

  10. Totally off topic, but what foundation do you use? your skin looks flawless! I liked bioderma, but didn't think it was incredible considering the price, the Garnier one is a really great dupe for a fraction of the price :)

    1. Thank you, I'm currently using the Nude Magique Eau de Teint by L'Oréal in the shade 120.

  11. I use the Garnier one and I really like it! I think they do different ones for different skin types as well which is great. I've never tried Bioderma but would definitely like to see what all the fuss is about sometime! xx

    1. Yes, that's right. I use the one for sensitive skin.

  12. This is such a great find! I definitely have to try the L'Oreal one for myself, if I can find it!

  13. Most people seem to dislike this Loreal micellar water and prefer the Garnier version but I liked it and find them all very similar. x
