Because so many blogger I follow worshipped the HOOLA bronzer by Benefit, I had to give this one a try. The color is nice matte brown, there is no shimmer and no glitter in it. I prefer a non-sparkly bronzer on my skin because it looks more natural to me. I'm very fair so it's hard for me to find bronzers that aren't too dark. Anyway, bronzer can look really orange on me. The matte brown color has a warm golden undertone. As my skin has a neutral undertone, it works good on my face. I guess this bronzer doesn't look so well on skins with cold undertones. I don't really use it for all over bronzing, just for contoring for my cheek bones and nose, as the brown would look weird on my pale skin if I put it kind of everywhere on my face. I just love it for a natural and polished contour. I'm satisfied with the result I get with it. I don't use the brush it comes with. This one is super soft but just too small and fluffy for contouring. Do you use it?
I only use a tiny little bit of the product to contour my face, so that the result doesn't look that harsh on my skin. I always tap off excess powder to avoid applying too much color. If your skin is darker, just use more product, this bronzer is really buildable. A little goes a long way for me because the pigmentation is so amazing.
It doesn't make my skin break out.
I recommend this bronzer for those with fair skin that are a little afraid to wear bronzer. It's rather pricey, but worth it for me. Overall I really like this bronzer and I would repurchase it if I ever finish. I feel like I haven't used anything of the product although I'm using it for months now.
